Dry Cover treatment is applied to the sheath to make the rope more resistant to abrasion and to various attacks such as falls, overheating, humidity, mud and grit, and significantly increases longevity.
The Top Gun is made with Unicore, an astonishing process where the sheath and core are bonded without affecting the rope’s suppleness. If the sheath is cut or torn, the core and sheath remain bonded together, greatly increasing the safety margin of the rope. Check out the video for more info on this amazing feature.
